The following scholarships are still available:
• Merit Scholarship for Freshmen: The College offers a number of full and partial- tuition awards to academically eligible freshmen. These awards are funded for two years, provided recipients maintain “B” average or higher while attending Queensborough.
• Technology Scholarships: Recently, Queensborough received funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to offer a number of tuition-free scholarships for two years of study for freshmen enrolling at the College in fall. Applicants must be interested in studying either Electrical Engineering Technology or Laser and Fiber Optics Technology.
• Khym Foundation Scholarships: These scholarships are offered to entering freshmen with demonstrated financial need. Amounts vary for these need-based scholarships and they may be awarded for up to two semesters only.
The deadline has been extended to June 15th for these scholarships.
